These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Beam Research Toolkit desktop application and related services (the “Service”) provided by Qirex Scientific OÜ (“Qirex”, “we”, “us”).
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Beam Research Toolkit is a desktop application for scientific visualization and analysis. Most processing occurs locally on your computer. We provide account, licensing, and subscription management services to enable use of the software.
2. Eligibility and Availability
The Service is not available to customers located in Thailand. By using the Service you represent that you are not located in Thailand and will not use the Service from Thailand.
3. Accounts and Subscriptions
You may need an account and an active subscription (or trial) to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe.
4. License
Subject to these Terms and an active subscription (where required), Qirex grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Beam Research Toolkit application for your internal research and professional purposes.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to circumvent licensing or trial restrictions, reverse engineer the software except where permitted by law, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual Property
The software, branding, and related materials remain the property of Qirex Scientific OÜ or its licensors. You retain all rights to your own data and research outputs.
7. Payment and Cancellation
Paid subscriptions are handled by Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
8. Refund Policy
Because Beam Research Toolkit is a digital product with immediate access, we generally do not offer refunds once a billing period has started. If you experience a technical problem that we cannot resolve, or if you believe you were charged in error, contact support@qirexscientific.com and we will review the request on a case-by-case basis.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qirex disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qirex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
